Responsible AI

Our commitment to Responsible AI

We built BeSmart because we believe AI can make people better at what they do. Not by replacing their judgment, but by giving them space to practice, prepare, and act when it matters. Our agents are digital teammates designed to elevate your workforce. That is their purpose, and it comes with responsibilities we take seriously.

AI is one of the most powerful tools ever created. But a tool is only as good as the principles behind it. These are ours:

1

AI is always identified as AI

Every interaction with a BeSmart agent is clearly labeled as artificial intelligence. There is no ambiguity, no fine print, no attempt to blur the line between human and machine.

Agents may have names, voices, and personalities because good design makes technology approachable. But approachable is not the same as deceptive. Every session, every message, every interaction is visibly AI-powered. We make AI visible because we are proud of what it can do, and because honesty is the foundation of trust.

If AI is involved, you will know.

2

Human oversight is built in, not bolted on

BeSmart agents operate under human supervision at every level. Admins define what an agent can and cannot do. They set its purpose, its boundaries, and its knowledge. They control which capabilities are enabled, from tool access to integrations, and can disable them at any time.

Every agent output can be traced back to its source material. Admins can audit what was said, why it was said, and what knowledge it drew from. Nothing is a black box.

The human is always the pilot. AI is the copilot. That is not a tagline. It is how the platform works.

3

Your data is yours

BeSmart runs with strict data isolation between organizations. Each company's data — including users, agents, conversations, and analytics — is completely separated and never accessible to anyone outside the organization.

For enterprise customers who need additional control, BeSmart supports bring-your-own AI infrastructure. This means AI processing can stay within the customer's own tenant, giving organizations full sovereignty over where their data is processed.

Encryption at rest and in transit, full audit trails, and strict access controls are built in by design.

4

AI should make humans more human

We believe the most responsible use of AI is the one that gives people back their most valuable resource: time and attention for the work that matters most.

When an agent coaches a sales rep through a difficult negotiation, that rep walks into the real meeting sharper. When a new hire onboards with an agent that knows the company's systems, they reach productivity faster. When a leader prepares a tough conversation before having it for real, the outcome improves for everyone.

Agents do not replace human connection. They create the conditions for it to be more meaningful. By handling repetition, practice, and preparation, they free people to focus on judgment, creativity, and relationships — the things that make us distinctly human.

5

Privacy is a right, not a feature

BeSmart is designed around the principle that users should always feel safe in their interactions with an AI agent.

Camera, screen sharing, and sensitive capabilities require layered consent: an admin must enable the feature, and the user must activate it during their session. We never capture without explicit user action. Users can stop sharing at any time.

We collect what is necessary to deliver the service and protect what we keep. We honor consent. We do not trade data. We build trust through design, not promises alone.

These five commitments are not aspirations. They are how BeSmart works today, and how we will continue to build as AI evolves. Because the companies that get AI right will not be the ones that moved fastest. They will be the ones that moved responsibly.

The human is the pilot. AI is the copilot.

Transparency is how we go further, together.
